Life comes with bruises … bruises you give yourself and bruises you get from others. They leave a mark; a visual mark and an emotional mark. The visual mark is black and blue; which then fades to yellow and eventually disappears. The emotional one is always there, more present when it first comes, then it fades, but there is always something that brings you back to the original mark that was first left.

How do you erase the emotional bruise and make it disappear completely like the visual one? Can you really ever erase them? What do you do when you get that bruise, no matter the size, no matter the time it takes to fade, what do you do while it is still there?

How do you make it better? What is your remedy?
